REMEMBERING HEROES is a 2-DVD set that was recently released by 6 Angels Productions. It is a collection of films, songs, and poems about real-life heroes, and will soon be available for purchase on this site or by phone at 1-877-322-3871.
The title song The Wall / Remember Me is a 9/11 tribute sung by The Jeremy Graham Band of Augusta, GA. The band also performed The Lineup, which is about the old Brooklyn Dodgers. There are other original songs and poems, along with vintage video of Major League Baseball, in the collection. The second DVD is a full-length documentary DEM BUMS: The Brooklyn Dodgers, which was donated in its entirety by NSE Films of Long Island, New York.
The Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance is a memorial dedicated to the brave First Responders who gave their lives at the WTC on 9/11. Currently there are 155 faces on The Wall. It is the mission of the Foundation to expand the memorial to include all 414 fallen First Responders. Please visit the website at brooklynwall.org
Just a hundred yards away from The Wall, near the historic parachute jump at Coney Island, is a statue of Pee Wee Reese and Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers. It stands as an acknowledgement of what they meant to the community, and how they fostered race relations in baseball at a time when it was unpopular and controversial. They too were heroes.
All of the net proceeds from the sale of this DVD will be donated to the Wall of Remembrance memorial so that we can finish this great work.
